Night Shall Overtake Us by Kate Saunders

Enjoyable historical novel, it seemed well researched and well written. The characters were engaging, particularly the women, although I thought that Francesca was a bit wet at times. Loved 'Muttonhead' and I though Lorenzo was an intriguing character - neither hero nor villain. I liked that there were no straightforward resolutions where everybody lived happily ever after at the end as well.
